Want to jump in France

First time skydiver

You want to experience skydiving for the first time ?

There are three ways to discover skydiving :

  • Tandem,
  • Static line,
  • PAC (french AFF – Accelerated Freefall Formation).

For whichever method you choose, you will be issued a mandatory license which includes insurance coverage for all your skydiving activities for the duration of the tandem jump, static line or PAC course.

A medical certificate prior to the issuance of the licence is compulsory.
For all jumps (tandem jump, static line and PAC), the medical certificate can be delivered by any medical doctor (belonging to the [french] national order of doctors) in France.

Already a skydiver

You want to jump in France and already have a license delivered by your home federation ?

Check out if your license is delivered by one of the FAI affiliated federations by clicking here.

If your license is from one of the FAI affiliated federations, you can jump in any of the french dropzones (overseas territories included) with your license.

The french DZ will provide you a “foreigner pass”, this document costs 12€ (in 2020) and is mandatory.
It ensures that you are covered for third party civil liability during your skydiving activities in France.

Drop Zones

These pages provide you links to the different drop zones websites. As each dz has its own organisation, please feel free to directly e-mail them to learn about their activities, rates and operating days and hours.
